Heating Protection Plans - Gault offers 2 different plans to protect your heating equipment; The Basic Heating Plan and The Maximum Heating Plan:
This plan covers just about anything that's likely to go wrong with your oil burner and includes an annual tune–up (see General Conditions for details), to increase your system's longevity and performance!
Gault will repair or replace, during the life of this agreement, at no extra charge to our customers, any of the following parts (see General Conditions for details), which may become defective due to normal use or wear and tear:

Get $50 in Credit Each Year
It is our goal to reward our loyal customers. You earn $50 credit for each year you purchase a service plan up to a total of $500 during your lifetime as our customer. You can use a portion of these credits towards the purchase of a variety of heating and cool- ing equipment. (The figures below show how much can be used for any one item). Credits are not transferable. They have value only as a credit toward the following equipment purchased from Gault by its customers.

1. A Tune–up will be performed once during the the Agreement term, during regular working hours, as scheduled by our Operations & Customer Care departments. The tune–up features our 24–point inspection, which includes
- Test and adjust oil burner for maximum efficiency
- Oil all motors on burner, fans and circulators
- Install new air filters, oil filter cartridge burner nozzle if neccessary
- Safety check all operating controls
- Inspect combustion chamber
- Check oil tank (where accessible)
- Clean and check electrodes and nozzle assembly
- Clean and inspect flue pipe including chimney base (where accessible)
2. Labor is covered only for the repair and replacement of listed parts. Work performed on non-contract parts will be billed at prevailing labor rates.
3. At the time of your service call, GAULT will repair or replace any needed parts regardless of whether they are covered under your contract
4. GAULT is not responsible for the discovery or removal of asbestos or other hazardous materials.
5. This Agreement does not cover the repair or replacement of obsolete parts such as certain zone valves, circulators, combustion chambers, and other parts that are not available through regular sources or supply
6. During the tune–up, GAULT will clean and inspect the smoke pipe and chimney base. There is no coverage on masonry or metal chimneys
7. If all fuel oil requirements are not purchased from GAULT, this Agreement is void
8. It is the homeowner's responsibility to contact GAULT at the time they receive or renew their contract to set up the tune–up appointment. We do not credit or prorate for any tune–ups not received
9. The contract will cover one air filter charge per year
10. This contract is for residential heating systems only
11. AFter 4:30 pm, before 8:00 am, weekends, and holidays are considered after–hours calls and, for non–emergency reasons, are not covered under your contract. Prevailing labor rates will be applied
12. All billable calls are based on a one–hour minimum
13. The Agreement will not cover underground or above ground oil lines
14. Concealed or buried parts, pipes and wiring are not covered
15. FPS protocols are not covered
16. This agreement does not cover frozen oil lines, gelled oil tanks or water and sludge in tanks.
17. Anti–freeze is a deterrent to prevent heating pipes from freezing but is not a guaranteed preventative measure. There is no contract coverage to replace ore replenish antifreeze in a system, nor the repairs of damage caused by a lack of antifreeze in the system. Improper maintenance will cause significant damage to the heating system, pipes, baseboards, radiators, hydro coils etc.
18. The contract does not cover any boilers, water heaters, booster tanks, indirect water heaters, combustion chambers, domestic water coils, digital thermostats, sensors, steam pipes, steam returns, radiant systems, piping related to the heating system, power venters, draft inducers, duct work, steam vents, warm air furnaces, or heat exchangers.
