Are you ready for the HEAT?
Review our tips below to keep cool through extreme heat.
1. KEEP A CONSISTENT TEMPERATURE
During extreme heat, it can take several hours to cool your home. Set your thermostat to a reasonable temperature (78 degrees) and keep it consistent throughout the day. This will allow your system to work efficiently and keep up with the daytime heat.
2. Keep your ac condenser clear
Your condenser units outside need ample space for airflow. Obstructing airflow will make your AC system work harder and less efficient. Make sure the area around your condensers are clear of objects and debris (leaves, weeds, etc.)
3. CHECK THE STATUS OF YOUR GENERATOR
Power outages in extreme heat are common due to increased demand on the electric grid.
Check the indicator lights on the outside of your Generac generator to make sure the green or yellow light is on
If your power goes out and your generator is running, notify us HERE when your propane tank reads 40% or less
